Still curious.
I’ve been around computers for forty years. I can’t remember another time that made me this impatient to see what I could build next.

I want to see what we can do with the help.
I work in enterprise technology and build with AI. But the questions that keep pulling me back are bigger than the software: what this does to our work, how we learn, who gets to create, and how we decide what deserves our trust.
The Age of Imagineering is where I work through those questions. Sometimes an idea becomes an essay. Sometimes it deserves a conversation. And sometimes I need to build something before I know what I think.
I’m excited about what is becoming possible. I also know that a convincing answer isn’t the same as a reliable one, and that progress means more when it gives people a better life.
I don’t expect everyone to agree with me. If something here makes you think—or makes you want to argue a point—I’d like to hear it.
Where to start
- The Age of Imagineering
The essay that named this publication: what changes when execution stops being the barrier between an idea and reality.
- The Lab That Learns
AI, robotics, and closed-loop laboratories could give more scientific questions a serious test—one result at a time.
- The Software You Wish Existed
AI gives people who know the work a way to shape tools of their own. Experience, judgment, and careful testing determine what becomes useful.
